Frequently Asked Questions
How will I receive my photos after?
We will email you a link to a digital gallery where you can download your gallery of high-resolution, edited images in JPEG format.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable for my scheduled date?
Luckily, in San Diego we have pretty great weather. However, there’s always a chance for unfavorable weather. It is our utmost priority that our clients have an enjoyable experience. We try to be as flexible as possible with allowing rescheduling, within reason.
When will I receive the photos?
We ask that you give us up to 2-3 weeks to process couple, family and portrait sessions. For wedding galleries the typical turnaround 2-3 months, depending on peak or off season. The delivery date will be specified in each contract.
Will you be providing unedited images?
No, we do not provided unedited/raw images. A lot of love and care is put into the editing process and raw images do not reflect our finished work.
Do you photograph outside of Washington and California? Internationally?
Yes! We do operate outside of Washington and California, typically within the United States. We absolutely love to travel and meet new people! However, we can only operate in countries where we can get the properly legal approval to do so. Many countries have strict laws regarding foreigners working inside the country and require a special permit or work visa, or simply do not allow it. We will always honor a foreign country’s working laws and can only guarantee our services if the proper laws are followed.
Do you offer any discounts?
We are proud to offer a 10% discount to all first responders, nurses, active military, veterans, and fellow wedding vendors. We greatly appreciate your service! Please mention the discount to us upon booking!
What is required to book my wedding date?
We require a 20% deposit and a signed contract to book your date. The remainder is due 30 days before your date.
Do we have to sign a contract?
Yes, we create customized and thoughtfully prepared contracts for each client that must be signed before your shoot or event. We know the word “contract” can be a bit scary, but it’s mainly just a service agreement — so we all services in writing somewhere.
What happens if you have an Emergency and cannot shoot our wedding?
We try our best to take the proper health precautions leading up to your big day. We have never had to cancel or hire associate shooters for our events but this cannot be 100% guaranteed. Unfortunately, life is unpredictable and emergencies do happen. If circumstances require us to hire associate photographers, we will try our very best to hire the best associate photographers(s) who we personally know that will work as hard for you on your wedding day as we would.
If you would like to also hire a backup associate photographer(s) for an additional retainer fee to hold your date, please talk to us more for details.
